On Wednesday May 6th, celebrate Oakridge Centre’s 50th Anniversary with festivities at the mall all day long including entertainment and models showcasing fashion throughout the decades. Virgin 95.3 radio will be on-site with giveaways and celebrity hosts from 2pm to 6pm. Be one of the first 100 people to arrive on May 6th and receive an Oakridge gift bag!
During this celebration the centre will come alive as we host local community artists, musicians and performers, raise money for charity, hold contests, cut cakes and pour champagne (sparkling juice) while incorporating fashion components and unveiling our new Style Agent program.

Fashion High is hosting a Project Runway finale viewing on Tuesday April 14th at Lamplight Pub (92 Water Street) in Gastown. Get the early eastern feed on the big screen starting at 7pm, join other style savvy locals for networking and get entered into a raffle. Tickets cost $5 and include a raffle ticket which will be used to vote on one of the three finalists; votes from the winning finalist will be drawn at the end of the show. The winning vote will receive an awesome prize pack! Doors open at 6:30pm, viewing begins at 7:00pm.

The opening gala last night at Leone (757 West Hastings Street) featured a melange of fashionable designers, models, media and photographers.
A widespread range of chocolates by Daniel was available for sampling, wine was served in the back corner of the spacious venue, and jewelry and accessories were displayed on glass counter tops as members of the fashion industry mingled and networked throughout the evening.
