Kwantlen Fashion Show (Wednesday April 1, 2009)

Watch 27 graduating Kwantlen fashion students showcase their designs at The Show on April 1, 2009 at the River Rock Theater (8811 River Road). Noir Lash Lounge – Grand Opening Event (Thursday March 19)

Coldplay – coming to Vancouver (June 20, 2009)

I just heard on the radio the other day that Coldplay will be performing on June 20th at GM Place this summer as part of their North American tour. Their most recent album, Viva La Vida, is nominated for a JUNO award for International Album of the Year. Tickets (from Ticketmaster) go on sale to the public this Saturday, March 14th at 10am with prices ranging from $49.50 to CA $97.50. Presale is on Friday March 13th at 10am but I haven’t found the password yet. It might be “yellow” but that could just be online speculation. Regardless, I have a feeling it will sell out.
