Since the early 90s, Mount Pleasant in Vancouver has undergone an amazing transformation. Today, it’s an edgy and vibrant neighbourhood with an eclectic mix of eateries, cafes, live music venues, cool patio bars and one-of-a-kind boutiques.
Dinner included a deliciously light whipped lemon ricotta as a snack, a very large Dungeness crab cake as a small plate, a flat iron steak, lingcod cassoulet and an assortment of winter vegetables as main courses and a plate of chocolate as dessert.
While Tasty Indian Bistro isn’t new to Surrey, it was certainly new to me. Owner Avtar Saini first opened up the restaurant in the winter of 1999 on Scott Road and it was always his vision to create a space where customers could dine like Indian royalty.
This year, the Pacific National Exhibition brings us a completely new and unique exhibit. The Game of Thrones exhibit is now open for PNE attendees to see – and feel – the world of Westeros.
