MARKET: Refresh Spring Market in Squamish (April 27 & 28)

One hundred artists, makers and shops will be at Refresh Market this Spring at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish for a two-day market on April 27 & 28, 2018.

Held two times a year, Refresh Market is the largest market in the Sea to Sky corridor, attracting an average attendance of 3,000. The spring market provides an opportunity to connect face-to-face with local artists and small shop owners, and purchase one-of-a-kind goods directly from the maker.

“Refresh is about making conscious decisions about how you shop and who you support. Squamish is a creative, entrepreneurial community, and we’ve been fortunate to help fuel that spirit by offering a platform that connects local makers and buyers.” – Co-founder, Rachel Boguski, Refresh Market.

Visitors can expect a curated selection of handmade, handpicked and locally designed clothing, jewelry, ceramics, vintage, artisan foods and more from neighbourhood favourites as well as up-and-coming artists and brands.

Highlights this spring are Vancouver photographer Ian Azariah of Tin Type Trike who creates 1860s-style tintype portraits in his darkroom on wheels, and 48 new vendors including Kitsilano vintage lifestyle shop Stepback, Main Street hub Neighbourhood Quality Goods, Army of Rokosz jewelry designer Andrea Rokosz and swimwear designers Fenntessa and UNION Swimwear.
