Consumers of dairy-free beverages now have another alternative – Oat Milk!
Vancouver dairy-alternative brand Earth’s Own has introduced two new additions to its plant-based SoFresh family: Oat Unsweetened Original and SoFresh Oat Unsweetened Vanilla beverages.
Creamy and smooth oat milk is common in Swedish and South American households, and is now making its way into Canada for its nutritious yet allergen-free properties. Oat milk is naturally vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free, which makes it suitable for a number of different diets. A great source of protein, fiber, minerals and key vitamins, oats are designed to boost your energy levels and help you lead a healthy lifestyle.
Made from a 1/3 cup of 100% Canadian gluten-free oats each cup of this creamy delight is the ideal source of plant-based nutrition because it is low in fat and sugar, has 4 grams of protein, 2g of fibre and 7 essential nutrients including Calcium and Vitamin D. SoFresh Oat will add vitality to your day and quickly become your new plant-based go-to.
Developed by Earth’s Own’s dedicated Research & Development team in Delta, BC, these are the first refrigerated, packaged oat beverage products in Canada. Find SoFresh Oat beverages at select grocery stores including Loblaw’s.

Do you have a barista version? One that will foam up nicely in a latte such as the Swedish product Oatly
I have switched to Oat Milk and really enjoy it. For the last several days there has not been any Oat Milk on the shelves of the two supermarkets that I frequent – Whole Foods and Urban Fare in Vancouver. Has the product been discontinued?
Can’t wait to see this. I drink Almond milk but feel guilty that it takes so much water to grow one almond. Hopefully less goes into the production for Oat Milk.
For the past two weeks I’ve been unable to buy any oat milk in either Save-On-Foods or in Real Canadian Superstore. Both stores have carried it up until recently! Is there a problem?
