SPACE, a collaborative workspace and local product showroom, is hosting their 2nd annual Holiday Giftshop from December 9 – 21st, from 8am to 8pm at 552 Clark Drive in Vancouver.
Showcasing over 25 different local makers and producers, visitors can expect to find a selection of quality BC-made products, from artwork, leather goods, jewelry to ceramics and things made from wood.
Makers include: Wasted Effort, By Nature Design, Willow and Stump, Ben Barber Studio, DMR Ceramics, Propellor Design, Nocturnal Workshop, Daly Co., OGA Designs, Pot Inc, Hand and Sew, Shrapnel Design, and more.
“We’re creating a playful environment to encourage people to ask questions and interact with products in a new way. We know how crazy stores can get during the Holidays and we’re excited to be able to offer a fun and local alternative.” – Pat Christie, Co-founder, SPACE.
The Holiday Giftshop will help build momentum as SPACE gears up to launch their permanent showroom and online marketplace. The showroom is designed to be a testing ground for new ideas, and a place where designers can sell batch produced products and prototypes through a low margin model.
