Love shopping local? The annual Etsy: Made in Canada market returns to Vancouver on the weekend of September 24 & 25. Now in its third year, this cross-country pop-up is the largest of its kind, expanding to 38 communities across Canada. In Vancouver, locals can support the homegrown talent of favourite Etsy makers (and new ones, too!) at the Pipe Shop in North Vancouver.
With over 90 local Etsy sellers participating, get ready to peruse through handmade and vintage wares; from home décor to clothing and accessories to items for kids and babies, and much more. Shoppers will have the opportunity to meet artisans such as Fox & Fancy who will be selling cheeky paper goods and stationary and Fable Naturals showcasing plant-based skin care products. New to the Vancouver Made in Canada market is Cabin + Cub, offering a line of laser cut wooden jewellery.
Etsy: Made in Canada is run by dedicated Etsy Team Captains, volunteers and sellers, and each of these 38 pop-ups are reflective of the community’s charm. Each marketplace is a glimpse into the community’s unique personality, with each of the vendors proudly representing their city.
