EVENT: Sharing Stories of Achievement Through The Dress for Success Vancouver Luncheon (November 4, 2015)

Celebrating successful women throughout the community, Dress for Success Vancouver (DFSV) hosts their third annual Success Luncheon on Wednesday November 4th in Vancouver at Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver. Dress for Success Vancouver is a registered charity committed to empowering women into the workforce by providing a professional attire, career development tools and a career advancement program. Since 1999 the organization has served over 22,000 women in the Lower Mainland.

The Success Luncheon is an annually anticipated opportunity to bring together the Dress for Success Vancouver corporate community. The Luncheon features a panel of female executives sharing their experiences of overcoming challenges to achieve success. The Luncheon also recognizes a DFSV client who has benefited from the Professional Women’s Group services, finding her way to success.

Panel speakers are Christine Marks, Director of Corporate Communications for Goldcorp Inc., Rachel Lewis, COO for the Vancouver Whitecaps and Jessica Macht, Partner at PWC. The event is hosted by Shaw TV personality Fiona Forbes.

“I’m proud to be celebrating our third Success Luncheon. The luncheon is an opportunity to share the stories of female executives who have faced challenges personally and professionally while achieving their dreams. This is the first year we’ll be honouring an amazing client who has worked to overcome obstacles supported by our Professional Women’s Group program. We are very grateful to our corporate community who support this event every year, making it possible.” – Jennifer Halinda, Executive Director of Dress for Success Vancouver.

In addition to the panel discussion, guests are invited to a pre-lunch networking event where they will meet with speakers and other corporate supporters from various sectors. Holt Renfrew has donated a designer handbag that will be raffled off during the event. Tickets and tables of 10 are now available at http://dfsvancouver.org/successluncheon.
