Introducing The Keg’s Lobster-Inspired Summer 2015 Menu

The annual lobster-inspired summer menu from The Keg Steakhouse + Bar is back.  Modern Mix Vancouver was invited to a mouth-watering dinner at the Alberni Street location to celebrate summer with fresh hard-shell, full-meat North Atlantic lobster from Canada’s East Coast. Here’s what we had:

Szechwan Lobster
Szechwan Lobster (New for 2015) – Golden fried lobster and shrimp with a mix of chili peppers, red peppers and asparagus. Tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce.
Crispy lobster tacos
Crispy Lobster Tacos – Tossed in crispy rice, golden fried lobster on three warm tortillas with cabbage slaw and cilantro.
The Keg lobster roll
Lobster Roll (New for 2015) – A mix of lobster and shrimp on a butter-brushed brioche roll.
The Keg Whole Atlantic Lobster
Whole Atlantic Lobster – Two pounds of sweet and succulent fresh Atlantic lobster, perfect for sharing with the table.

Other items on The Keg’s lobster summer menu includes an oven-baked Lobster Gratinee appetizer, the new Surf + Turf which comes with two mini filet medallions and a 3-ounce lobster tail, as well as the Steak and Half Lobster which is a hearty meal made up of a sirloin steak with either a 6oz or 8oz half lobster.
