Celebrating the launch of UK brand Ted Baker at Pacific Centre, Modern Mix Vancouver was invited to style an outfit and share it with our readers!
Ted Baker’s fanciful womenswear collection captures imagination with colour, combining classical romantic impressions, blooming prints and urban chic nuances. Ted Baker is world-renowned for its stylish and sophisticated menswear, womenswear, accessories, and loved for its quality and distinctive use of design and colour.
I started off with the ILYS Marl burnout overlay dress as my anchor piece, as I love the neutral versatility of the grey, the feminine of the floral skirt, and the casualness of the capsleeve. Basing the rest of the outfit around this main piece, I picked accessories to to highlight the purple undertones of the dress: a chunky Emari Teardrop Crystal Necklace and the MONIRRA Pointed Court Shoes (which have a subtle but sophisticated gold detailing at the toes).
To top off the outfit, the ENI Textured Cropped Jacket has an interesting waffle texture, with gold detailing for the zippers.
As an accessory, I chose the ISLA Patent Crosshatch Cross Body Bag in taupe – it’s incredibly adorable and feminine, especially with the inside floral pattern lining. The bag is quite slim, but there is an outer compartment which is the perfect size for an iPhone.
