When I first read the email that Glowbal Grill was bidding “a stylish farewell” to Yaletown, I couldn’t believe it. For a restaurant that has been a Yaletown success for 12 years, what was happening?! Turns out, Glowbal Grill is just moving from one trendy downtown neighbourhood to the next.
From now until New Year’s Eve, Glowbal Restaurant Group invites diners to visit Glowbal Grill at its current location to celebrate the restaurant’s legacy. There is no better date to end ‘Glowbal’s reign’ than New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2014, bidding Yaletown a fond farewell and a salute to a striking new flagship location at the Telus Garden Project.
The countdown is on!
What began as a team of just eight when Glowbal Grill first opened its doors in 2002 has grown into one of the most highly esteemed and fastest growing restaurant groups in Western Canada. Today, the group is comprised of nine restaurants: glowbal grill steaks & satay, COAST Restaurant, Italian Kitchen, Trattoria Kitsilano, SOCIETY, Black+Blue, The Fish Shack, The Roof, Trattoria Park Royal and Trattoria Burnaby (coming early 2015).
