A couple weeks ago, Modern Mix Vancouver gave its readers a sneak peek of Chambar’s new location while it was still under construction. Now, the new Chambar has officially opened to the public and here is a first look at the beautiful, bright new space at 568 Beatty Street which Chambar Restaurant now calls home:
In addition to being in a beautiful new space, food continues to be the prime focus at Chambar with a strong environmental commitment in both sustainable seafood, local produce and the continuum of operations being carbon neutral. Chef Nico Schuermans has devised a reduced traditional menu to make room for a diverse selection of seasonal small plates.
The wine program is an intelligent, innovative and highly creative compliment to the food. A new wine room sits adjacent to the back dining room giving the program more space and commitment.
The bar program continues to showcase selections of beautiful and creative cocktails, being served over a stunning 36 foot walnut bar. A multitude of well thought out details bring together streamlined functionality to allow staff to spend more time with guests. The lower level is a comfortable intimate space for private parties with open beam and brick, and windows facing east & south.
Chambar now offers breakfast from 8am, lunch, brunch on weekends and dinner, with the continued provision of late night dining.
