Teddy’s Grooming Experience at Bow Wow Haus & MMV Giveaway for a $100 Doggie Prize Pack

Bow Wow Haus is a Vancouver-based doggie boutique chain which also offers stylish pet supplies, grooming, daycare and other pet-related services.

I was pleased to discover several branches of this doggie boutique around the city – there’s one on W.Broadway, one in Kitsilano, and also one in East Vancouver.

Thanks to Bayer Health, who thoughtfully gifted my dog Teddy Bear a summer experience, Teddy recently went for a grooming at the Bow Wow Haus on Broadway at Macdonald Street.

Prices for grooming at Bow Wow Haus begin at $50 and vary depending on the size of your dog.  My family has made fun of me over and over again, joking that Teddy’s bath costs as much, if not more, than their own haircuts.  But when you take your dog for a grooming appointment, it’s so much more than just a bath.  With Bow Wow Haus, the full service dog grooming is approximately two hours long and includes a bath, a haircut, a thorough brushing and a nail trim.

Believe it or not, I think Teddy Bear actually enjoys being groomed.  The summer weather has been so hot in Vancouver, it was probably a relief for him to shed his thick fur coat.  As you can see from the photo above, loose hair was trimmed from his legs, and his fur looks sleeker overall.

After Teddy was finished his grooming appointment, we spent some time looking at the extensive collection of colourful collars, leashes and toys.
