Cast Your Vote for the Oakley 2013 Ambassador & Win a $500 Prize Pack
Cast your vote for the Oakley 2013 Ambassadors and you can win one of six prize packages featuring $500 worth of Oakley training gear! Between April 15 and May 8, 2013, the public is invited to visit facebook.com/oakleyactive to vote for the candidate they think should be the next Oakley ambassador.
What are the qualities voters should look for in a good Oakley ambassador? Cast your vote for the candidate who demonstrates that they are excited about life by courageously going after new challenges and pushing their limits. Whether it’s overcoming stereotypes to pursue a dream, or challenging their endurance to set a personal record, Oakley ambassadors reach their goals while looking strong and feeling amazing.
Some of the candidates include Lisa Munsie from Vancouver who has combined her love of sports and fashion by modifying sports jersey into female fan wear, yoga teacher Kristin Campbell from the Sea to Sky area in BC with a fitness career which has taken her across Canada, Julia Chilco from Ontario who has been a competitive gymnast for eight years and skeleton racer Cassie Hawrysh from Alberta who wants to help young girls realize that limits, like fears, are often just an illusion. These women have taken the time to put together videos explaining their passion for an active lifestyle and how they have helped and inspired others to not give up and pursue their dreams.
Six applicants with the highest number of votes will be automatically declared Oakley ambassadors for 2013. The other six will be chosen by Oakley. All 12 winners will receive a year-long Oakley ambassadorship, along with six sets of workout gear valued at $3,000. Two of the winners will be selected to head out to a fitness retreat in California, valued at $5,000!
And just for voting, you will be entered to win one of six Oakley prize packages featuring $500 worth of Oakley training gear. Be sure to visit facebook.com/oakleyactive for more details and to check out the candidates’ profiles. Good luck to all the candidates and voters!
