The EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival is Canada’s largest consumer food festival, featuring hundreds of food, beverage & kitchen goods exhibitors along with tourist boards, travel suppliers, wineries, breweries, restaurants, cooking demonstrations, wine, beer and cheese seminars, cookbook authors & chef competitions. What I love most about this annual festival is walking around and sampling new food products and being able to purchase your favourites right on the spot! (In fact, last year, we picked some of our favourite products to stock up on from EAT! Vancouver – click here to read what they were.)
In addition to food samples, there will be live food-related entertainment and demonstrations all weekend long, including an all-Canadian start lineup on the Food Network Celebrity Stage: Spice Goddess Bal Arneson, Anna Olson of Bake with Anna Olson, Chef Chuck Hughes of Chuck’s Week Off, and Vancouver’s own Iron Chef: America winner and Food Concept Architect for Cactus Club Restaurants, Chef Rob Feenie.
Other activities include Grapes & Hops Stage, featuring wine and beer related seminars, food pairings, and tastings, the Wine, Beer and Spirits Tasting Pavilion and The Bites of Vancouver Pavilion, offering appetizer-size plates from local restaurants.
EAT! Vancouver will be held at BC Place Stadium (777 Pacific Boulevard). Festival hours are:
