Do you like macarons? Paul Croteau Confections has been selling macarons, a French almond meringue sandwich cookie with flavoured ganache fillings of seasonal flavours, and other sweets, at a kiosk in Oakridge Shopping Centre since the beginning of August 2010. But at the end of this month, Paul Croteau will be relocating to 1020 Main Street, near Terminal Avenue. The new store will be located directly above Campagnolo Restaurant, where Paul Croteau oversees the bread and dessert program as Pastry Chef. The final day of sales at Oakridge will be Sunday, September 12, 2010.
From now until November 15, bring a gently-worn party dress into Wear Else and get a $50 gift card. Your dress will be donated to Dress for Success.
On Wednesday May 6th, celebrate Oakridge Centre’s 50th Anniversary with festivities at the mall all day long including entertainment and models showcasing fashion throughout the decades. Virgin 95.3 radio will be on-site with giveaways and celebrity hosts from 2pm to 6pm. Be one of the first 100 people to arrive on May 6th and receive an Oakridge gift bag!
During this celebration the centre will come alive as we host local community artists, musicians and performers, raise money for charity, hold contests, cut cakes and pour champagne (sparkling juice) while incorporating fashion components and unveiling our new Style Agent program.
