If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful lunch spot in Vancouver that still feels fun and stylish, Jo’s Italian Deli delivers exactly that balance with retro Italian diner vibes, a bright modern interior, and comforting deli classics. Jo’s Italian Deli’s second Metro Vancouver location recently opened at 3998 Main Street.
The pasta menu keeps things simple with classics like Spaghetti & Meatballs, Alfredo, Rosé, Pesto Cream, and Bolognese, all priced at $11.59, while sandwiches like the Italian, Prosciutto, and Chicken Pesto start at $9.89. If you want something unique to the Main Street location, try the Chicken Parm sandwich. Make it a meal with one of their Lunchbox Combos or Pasta Platters by adding a side like a House Salad or deli favourites such as Pesto Pasta Salad, Artichoke Antipasto, or Chickpea Salad.
On a hot day, grab a lemonade or watermelon granita to go. We ended up going to Jo’s two days in a row just for the drinks!

With affordable prices, familiar comfort food favourites, and a modern-retro vibe, Jo’s Italian Deli on Main Street is already becoming a neighbourhood favourite. Every time I’ve walked by, there’s been a lineup — but thankfully, it moves quickly. It’s well worth checking out the next time you’re looking for a casual lunch or easy dinner spot on Main Street in Vancouver.
