Vancouver’s highly anticipated fall and winter traditions, Canyon Frights and Canyon Lights, are returning to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in 2023.
The renowned suspension bridge and Park provide year-round thrills to visitors worldwide, yet they truly excel during seasonal events featuring stunning light displays, imaginative themed deìcor and photo-worthy opportunities galore – all included in the admission fee.
The park recently announced dates for this year’s fall and winter events. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park’s pumpkin-filled Canyon Frights festivities begin on Friday, October 13, 2023, and run until Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Canyon Frights is closely followed by the Park’s famous winter celebration, Canyon Lights, which will be returning Friday, November 17, 2023, and runs until Sunday, January 21, 2024 (closed December 25).

Looking for Halloween fun in Vancouver that the whole family can enjoy? Then look no further! Take a thrilling journey through history where the spirits of the past come to life as they enjoy a Halloween gathering reminiscent of a Victorian ‘Fall Fair’. The Park, illuminated for the occasion, sets the perfect atmosphere as the festivities take an unexpected twist revealing a turn of events in the rainforest. Visitors can wear their best, family-friendly costumes and take part in Halloween-themed games and surprises. And if that isn’t enough of a hoot, the owls of Raptors Ridge are around from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends during the festivities.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park: Canyon Lights
Canyon Lights transforms Capilano Suspension Bridge Park into an unforgettable family-friendly holiday light experience. Cross the world-famous bridge, lit end-to-end with a multi-colour display above the illuminated Capilano River and canyon. Journey into a magical glowing rainforest and walk high above the forest floor on the glittering Treetops Adventure. Finally, wind your way along the twinkling cliffside pathway of Cliffwalk. Capture Instagram-worthy moments, sip a decadent hot chocolate while you listen to live holiday tunes and explore the fun festive activities that await you.
Canyon Lights will return on Friday, November 17, 2023, and runs until Sunday, January 21, 2024 (closed December 25).

Tickets for both events must be purchased in advance online. Canyon Frights tickets are on sale now and Canyon Lights tickets will go on sale on 10 a.m. on Friday, November 3 at capbridge.com, with a limited number of tickets available. Visits are scheduled in 30-minute arrival increments. BC Annual Passholders are also required to reserve their time online prior to their visit. Book early to avoid missing out!
