The Sea to Sky Gondola has launched its summer programming: a series of weekly community events which include timed hiking challenges, live concerts at the summit, and a communal longtable dining experience called the Backyard Seafood Boil.
Summer Hiking Programs at the Sea to Sky Gondola
Thursdays & Saturdays until September 8, 2018
The Thursday Hustle timed hiking challenge and Rise + Climb group hike on Saturday mornings will inspire guests to hike harder and take their fitness to new levels. The Sea to Sky Gondola has partnered with Helly Hansen to capture hikers’ ascent times with Squamish-based Spruce Racing timing system. Rise + Climb will run every Saturday from June 30 to September 8, 2018. Timing chips can be purchased from Guest Services for one-time use at $5 or an all-summer pass at $10. The more hikes completed during the Thursday Hustle and Rise + Climb, the more chances hikers will have to win prizes as part of the series.
