foodora Restaurant Delivery Service Continues Metro Vancouver Expansion into Burnaby

foodora, the on-demand food delivery service has continued its Metro Vancouver expansion into Burnaby. Beginning this month in June, Burnaby foodies will now be able to order directly from over 150 partner restaurants via foodora, and have their meals delivered straight to their door.

Through the foodora website or via the new iOS and Android apps, hungry customers can enter their area and view a curated list of restaurants serving their neighbourhood. Once they have found their meal of choice, they can place an order in the comfort of their home or office, paying online through foodora’s secure platform. The order is then prepared by the restaurant, picked up by a member of foodora’s bike fleet, and delivered straight to their doorstep in around 30 minutes. Customers also have the option to pick their order up with foodora’s pick-up feature.

The expanded delivery zone in Burnaby stretches from SFU Burnaby Campus and Burnaby Lake, out to Nanaimo Street. From north to south, the zone spans from the ocean to Marine Way excluding the Killarney area.  Examples of restaurant partners include Big Star Sandwich Co, Broken Rich, Cristos Greek Taverna, and Cotto Enoteca Pizzeria.

  • Launch Perks: To sweeten the deal, foodora will celebrate its expansion by offering free delivery on all orders placed in the Burnaby delivery zone until June 30, 2018.
