Vancouver-based Saje Natural Wellness has taken their first foray into edible products with the launch of “Saje Drops”. Just launched in March, these certified organic and gluten-free lozenges are available in two varieties: Ginger Aide Soothing Lemon Ginger Drops and Foodie Comforting Licorice Peppermint Drops.
Retailing for $8.95 for 45 in a pocket-sized tin (similar to an Altoids case), Saje Drops are a plant-powered alternative to chemical-filled gums and lozenges, with ingredients designed to freshen breath and help with digestion.
Ginger-Aide-Soothing Lemon Ginger Drops are best for soothing a sore through with zesty lemon, echinacea and spicy ginger, while Foodie Comforting Licorice and Peppermint Drops are best used as a palette cleanser combining traditional after-meal spices and herbs such a licorice, ginger, anise fennel and peppermint.
The sweetener used in both varieties is organic molasses, and the texture of the drops have more of a powdery, rather than crunchy, finish.
