Okanagan Spring Brewmaster’s Dinner at Mamie Taylor’s

Coinciding with the start of Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2015, Okanagan Spring hosted a Brewmaster’s Dinner at Mamie Taylor’s with Stefan Tobler. Does that name sound familiar? It’s because his brewmaster signature can be found on the neck of every Okanagan Spring bottle!

Five brews of Okanagan Spring (1516 Bavarian Lager, Pale Ale, Sonder Hefeweizen, Cloudy Amber Ale, Porter) were paired with dishes from Mamie Taylor’s. Most notably was the Sonder Hefeweizen, which is Okanagan Spring’s newest brew: a golden coloured German-style wheat beer made with a unique yeast strain that gives it a malty aroma and subtle banana-clove flavours with a dry, yet refreshing finish.
