The three-course meal features seasonal food prepared by an outstanding lineup of farm-to-table chefs from restaurants including Edible Canada, Forage, Vij’s Rangoli and Graze. Each chef will be paired with a farmer – Forage with Sole Food Street Farms, Vij’s Rangoli with Crisp Organics, and Graze with Cropthorne Farm – to create appetizers during cocktail hour.
Befitting the introduction of liquor sales at farmers markets, RIPE will also feature local liquor producers. Long Table Distillery and Odd Society Spirits will be on hand mixing seasonal cocktails, R & B Brewery plan to brew a signature RIPE keg for the event, and BC Wine Studio and Earlco Vineyards will present a selection of their Okanagan wines. In addition, the event will include a silent auction and live music.
