The first Vancouver Tea Festival will be at Olympic Village on November 2, 2013.

Vancouver Tea Society is proud to present the inaugural Vancouver Tea Festival, coming to Olympic Village on November 2, 2013.  Here are a couple of Tea vendors participating, which have previously been featured before on Modern Mix:

  • DAVIDsTEA – Who in Vancouver hasn’t heard of DAVIDsTEA?! A tea festival wouldn’t be complete without DAVIDsTEA as an exhibitor.  Click here to read about the time I met David Segal, the “David” behind DAVIDsTEA.
  • Tea Sparrow – a Vancouver-based loose leaf tea subscription company. Modern Mix Vancouver was one of the first recipients of their service, back in February 2012.  Read more here.
  • Amoda Tea –  Amoda is the Sanskit word for joy, peace, serenity and aroma which is the perfect name for a tea sampling company. I see the Amoda Tea team often at craft fairs and other events.
  • O5 Tea Opened in Fall 2013, O5 Tea is located in the Kitsilano West 4th shopping district.

There are also several tea brands and companies who will be exhibiting their goods whom I haven’t heard of before: D?Matcha, Thay Tea, JusTea, The Teaguy, Steam Tea House, Namasthé Tea Co. and Lime and Moon Pie Company.

Knowing how much I love my tea, I will certainly be there on November 2nd. Hope to see you too!
