The Escape Ballet (Sponsored Video)

When it comes to driving, parallel parking is usually the greatest challenge. The new 2013 Ford Escape has an innovative technology called the “Active Park Assist”. This practical function of the vehicle helps drivers parallel park with the touch of a button, without ever touching the steering wheel!

This functionality uses “ultrasonic sensors” to measure and identify a parallel parking spot. Upon accepting the system assistance to park, the steering system takes over and then steers the car into the parking space, hands-free.  In the video below, Ford compares the use of the Active Park Assist to a ballet – because parallel parking can be that elegant.

Would you trust a vehicle to do your parallel parking for you?
