Bisou Bridal – 5 Gorgeous Dresses from the “Love is in the Air” Fashion Show

Bisou Bridal is one of Vancouver’s premier bridal salons and it’s easy to see why. Known for the quality and variety of the designers they carry, they pride themselves on the excellent service they provide to their clients. With exclusive designers like Oscar de la Renta. Monique Lhuillier, Lazaro, Jenny Packham, Marchesa, Tara Keely, Alvina Valenta, Augusta Jones, Watters Brides, and Lillen Collection (local designer), every bride-to-be is almost guaranteed to find their dream dress to say “I do” here.

Last week, Bisou Bridal hosted “Love Is In The Air”, an intimate fashion show featuring Spring 2013’s top styles and trends from all their top bridal designers. There was a palpable excitement in the air as industry insiders, brides-to-be and media took their seats.

Here are my 5 favorite dresses of the night:

This Marchesa B60919 dress literally stole the show. With a beaded illusion neckline and ostrich feather skirt, this short wedding gown is perfect for the fashion forward bride. In fact, it’s hard to decide whether the front or the back is better….

Brides looking for something more sophisticated and sleek will love this Elizabeth Fillmore Tullah dress. Known for her hand-crafted accents, this silk dress with cascading chiffon ruffles from the neckline down to the back and train with a breathtaking floral lace accent on the shoulder will make every bride feel sexy, graceful and feminine.

Jenny Packham has become one of Hollywood’s favorite designers as everyone from Catherine Zeta Jones, Angelina Jolie, Amy Adams, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Diane Kruger, Dita von Teese, Kate Hudson and The Duchess of Cambridge has worn her designs. This soft sheath Callie bridal gown had beautiful delicate sequin detailing that would be perfect for an intimate wedding.

This silk, chiffon sweetheart gown with a stunning organza and tulle ruffle skirt from Oscar de la Renta is the perfect statement for romantic and elegant brides looking to add a little personality and style to their wedding day.

And for the bride looking for a modern take on the classic bridal style, they should look no further then this Lazaro 3213 masterpiece. This sweetheart neckline, sheer lace bodice organza ball gown with a dropped waist will leave every jaw dropped.

To check these looks out for yourself, visit Bisou Bridal in Vancouver at 440 W. 2nd Avenue.
