Noir Lash Lounge, Vancouver’s first and only exclusive boutique lash extension service, opened its first location in Yaletown in March 2009. ARITZIA – Snooze You Loose Sale (officially starts Feb. 4th)

The “Snooze You Lose” sale at Aritzia officially starts today, February 4, 2009. I checked out the downtown locations this morning, and saw silk skirts for $50, ribbed beaters for $10, slight discounts on the TNA hoodies, reductions on winter coats, but not much of a price reduction in terms of new stock. In fact, if you’ve been to Aritzia in the past week or so, items have already been put on sale and even though the official start (according to posters around downtown) is today, prices haven’t been noticeably cheaper than what they were in the past week.

I’m going up to Sunpeaks this weekend for some snowboarding and coincidently, a wine festival! The newly rebranded “Glowbal Grill – Steaks & Satay” (1079 Mainland Street) is offering 50% off lunch entrees for the rest of January:

Executive Chef Erik Heck has created new menu favourites. With addition of ‘steak’ to our moniker, the focus is on prime cuts of beef. Our new restaurant features a ‘Meat Cellar’ – essentially a glass-walled meat cooler, displaying aged cuts of beef: ribeyes, striploins and tenderloins. When steaks are selected they will be pulled down and butchered to order.

The new menus are a ‘globally inspired’ combination of regional and exotic ingredients. Although steaks take centre stage, seafood, a variety of sizzling satays, and glowbal’s famous spaghetti and Kobe meatballs remain menu staples
