  1. I love how hockey makes everyone stop and watch the game, whether at work around a computer or on the telly or at a bar. It’s what makes us Canadian!!

  2. I love how the action of the game keeps me at the edge of my seat (if it’s a good game). I love how the crowd collectively cheers for goals and groan when a shot’s missed. I love how it feels to be in the actual arena and cheering for my team – or even at a restaurant to cheer for Team Canada I can’t go to the game. I love how passionate fans get – but we could do without the riots. I love how Vancouver sounded when we won gold in 2010. I remember where I was when Team Canada won gold in 2002. I remember watching my first NHL game in Montreal. I remember how my heart was pounding when the Habs won in overtime against the Bruins.

In short: I love Hockey 🙂

    (ps: sorry for the essay!)

  3. My fave thing is the passion Canadians have for Hockey and the energy and such loyal fans. The states are not die hard fans like Canadians.

  4. Hockey is Canadian national sport! Can’t wait until Sunday, hope they can get a couple of wins before then though.

  5. I love the memories of growing up with hockey. It’s a bonding experience for many families both watching and playing.

  6. I love how hockey unites Canadians. No matter what part of Canada, the passion we share for the game is truly spectacular.

  7. I love hockey because its a sport that gives us moments like the last goal Burrows scored in Game 7 against the Hawks. It’s love, its hate, its nailbiting excitment. It’s a sport that cannot be duplicated.

  8. I love the excitement leading up to a goal and waiting for that one goal!! Plus the players <3 and the Canadian love for hockey !

  9. I love the suspense leading up to a goal, the way you just anticipate and you see it coming and when they scored, the way you just get up and scream! Just love how when theres big events for hockey, its big everywhere

  10. I love how hockey brings everyone together to all watch around the tv. Regardless of which team we are rooting for, everyone has a great time. And that hockey is super exciting!! Thanks!

  11. I love how hockey bring all sorts of people together! They may have nothing in common, but once hockey is on the screen or on the ice, they all come together!
