Perfect your pout with Metropolis at Metrotown and Vancouver-based non-profit organization The Lipstick Project. From October 8th to 13th, customers can “Kiss for a Cause” by visiting the Kiss Wall in Atrium Court at Metropolis at Metrotown and help support The Lipstick Project, a charity that provides free, professional spa services for men, women and children who are facing significant health challenges in hospitals and hospices.

The Kiss Wall at Metropolis at Metrotown
Guests who visit the Kiss Wall during the six-day event will receive a complimentary “kiss” postcard to be pinned to the wall. For every “kiss” added to the wall, Metropolis will donate $1 to The Lipstick Project. It is so great to see big organizations (like the largest shopping centre in British Columbia!) giving back to local charities which could benefit greatly from additional funding to support their causes.

Can’t make it to the mall? Participate online instead! Metropolis at Metrotown has also committed to donating $1 for every perfect pout uploaded to Instagram or Twitter during this time to The Lipstick Project. Customers are encouraged to participate using the hashtag #aKissforaCause, and tagging @MetropolisatMet, all in the name of charity and to win daily Metropolis at Metrotown gift cards.
Glamour Photo Shoot by Donation
In addition, from October 11 – 13, Metropolis at Metrotown will have expert make-up artists on-site to provide free lipstick applications to get customers ready for their very own glamour photo shoot. By providing a $5 donation to The Lipstick Project, guests can participate in a professional photo session and get to take home a stunning high quality black and white photo. Photo sessions will run from 12pm to 3pm and 4pm to 6pm, with pre-booking available starting at 10am on October 8th.
So gather your favourite lipsticks and get ready to pucker up for charity – as if you needed another reason to take a selfie.
