EVENT: Nature’s Path Pop-Up Organic Cafe at Vancouver Art Gallery (Oct 2, 2014)

Thanksgiving is a time to eat well. It’s also a time to do good. Here’s how you can do both: on Thursday October 2nd, from 7am to 3pm, join Nature’s Path in the giving spirit at their 6th annual Eat Well Do Good Foodraiser in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.

Formerly known as Compassion Into Action, the newly revamped Eat Well Do Good Foodraiser offers up delicious ways to join the fun, including a 7:30am YYoga class by donation, a pop-up organic café where people can enjoy a delicious organic breakfast or lunch at the event or to-go, and an organic marketplace featuring an abundance of local products and produce for sale by donation.

One hundred percent of event proceeds benefit the food bank. For every $1 spent, the Food Bank can buy $3 worth of food to feed the hungry! To date, the annual event has raised more than $600,000 total in food for the food bank and the 28,000 members of the community who use their services, 26% of whom are children.

Eat Well Do Good Schedule of Events:

  • 7:30 a.m. – Yoga by donation, led by Yyoga
  • 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. – Breakfast & marketplace
  • 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Lunch & marketplace
