Founded in Gibsons, BC in 2008, Libre tea glasses have already been enjoyed by tea lovers all across the world. I got my first Libre tea glass as a present from a friend who does yoga. Several years later, I’m pleased to introduce to you on Modern Mix Vancouver, the newest style in the Libre family, a double walled, glass ‘n’ poly, 10 oz. mug ($32.50).
All styles of Libre tea glasses are made of glass ‘n poly, with a health-conscious BPA-free glass interior so your tea tastes fresh and clean in every cup. The exterior is a durable polycarbonate. The double-wall construction keeps tea hot or cold and comfortable to hold. But the BEST part of Libre tea glasses is the removable, easy to clean, stainless steel tea filter, which allows you to brew loose-leaf tea on the go. The simple design has multiple uses – you can put the tea leaves in the filter and turn your glass upside-down to brew, or you can also put your loose leaf tea directly into the glass if you prefer strong tea. The original 9 oz. Libre tea glass starts at $24, while the 10 oz. mug is $32.50.
In Vancouver, I’ve seen the Libre Tea Glasses available at Murchie’s Tea (Oakridge Centre) as well as Y Yoga boutique locations. For the location nearest you, try the Libre Tea Store Locater. For a holiday loose leaf tea blend suggestion, check out Murchie’s Christmas Tea ($14.95 for a festive 6 oz. tin).

King Cole tea, I am a Maritimer.
My idea of a traffic jam is ten cars waiting to pass a tractor on the highway.
It takes three hours to go to the store for one item, even when you’re in a hurry because you have to stop and
talk to everybody in town.
And only tea to drink is King Cole tea.
I love green tea.
