PLEN+Y – First-ever Warehouse Sale (April 10 to 12, 2009)
Sweet stuff! PLEN+Y is having its first-ever warehouse sale with new stock every day during the weekend of April 10th to 12th at 906 Main Street in Vancouver. (That’s on the corner of Main and Prior Street). Expect to find savings of 60% to 90% off. The sale is on Friday/Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. I guess everyone needs an extra hour to sleep in on Sunday, eh?
PLEN+Y – $25 off $100 purchase (valid March 12th to 15th)
From today, March 12th until March 15th, print out the below coupon and visit Plen+y to recieve $25 off your next purchase of $100+. The usual fine print stuff: this offer only applies to regular priced merchandise, can’t adjust previous purchases, can’t be combined with other offers or discounts, etc. etc. As girly as this pink coupon is, Plen+y definitely sells guys clothing too – with brands like Mavi, Superdry, Stussy, etc. For the ladies, check out Plen+y’s in-house brands: Propaganda, Thirty3 and Monk & Lou.
Plen+y Sale >> Monk & Lou skirt
I stopped by the Plen+y flagship store on the corner of West Broadway and Mcdonald yesterday evening and was pleased to discover an ample amount of clothing on sale. Paper signs around the store announced 20% to 40% off selected stock. I ended up trying a couple of items but what I ended up purchasing was a high waisted, dark grey Monk & Lou grey dress-skirt with a subtle baby blue checkered pattern and pockets. It wasn’t exactly cheap or a good deal, and taxes added almost another $10 to my purchase. But it was already on sale, made in Canada, and 80% wool. If you’ve been reading my articles on all the autumn/winter fashion shows MMV has been attending, grey has been a prominent presence on the runway this season. That being said, grey matches with (almost) everything and is a whole lot trendier than black. I wouldn’t be surprised if Plen+y is advertising half-price clothing with an end-of-season sale in the coming weeks – but in my “shopping career”, I have developed the mentality that if it fits – buy it.
