In a desperate attempt to get out of the house to beat the post-Halloween blues, I went to the new Winners (491 West 8th Avenue) on Sunday afternoon. In my excitement at low prices, I exclaimed to my friend, “why doesn’t everyone shop here?!” but I soon found out. Because of its sheer size (and attachment to HomeSense), it can be quite overwhelming to shop there. If you have the patience to look, you may be able to find something to your liking. Nonetheless, we both agreed that the real deals were in the bath and body section with trendy looking lotions, soaps and bath products at ridiculously discounted prices.
