This past week Vancouver saw the highly anticipated grand opening of Victoria’s Secret on Robson Street. Formerly the HMV building, this glamorous new location is the second largest Victoria’s Secret in the world. Boasting no less than 35,000 square feet the store is covered in signature pink, floor to ceiling video screens, and call buttons in each of the fitting rooms for immediate assistance.
To celebrate the launch of the new store, Modern Mix had the opportunity to attend a luncheon at the world-renowned Hawskworth Restaurant. Over lunch, we met with Victoria’s Secret angel, Lindsay Ellingson. This bombshell blonde has walked the iconic VS runway for 7 years. The grand opening of the Vancouver store was Lindsay’s first visit to the city, which she believe is a great match for Victoria’s Secret due to its multiculturalism. When we asked Lindsay about her favorite Victoria’s Secret piece, she responded by saying anything from the Body by Victoria sleep collection. Super soft and all new, it’s her absolute go to for bedtime bliss!
In store, this game-changing new location features a luxurious mirrored stairway and custom chandeliers. Inside, we can confirm you’ll find everything from signature scents and body care collections, Victoria’s Secret Sport, and (yes!) the highly coveted swimwear line. The lingerie collection will feature bras & panties from the Very Sexy© line of lacy delicates, to romantic Dream Angels© favorites.

Coinciding with the launch of the new store is a new signature scent perfect for fall with fresh floral hints. The fragrance, simply labeled VICTORIA is only of my absolute favorites with a trademarked blend of five distinct roses, hints of vanilla, and crème brule. All of these aromas come together to create a warm, feminine scent that is perfect for every day. The VICTORIA collection starts at $22 for the rollerball up to $78 for the Eau de Parfum 3.4oz bottle.
