For fans of film and celebrity, one sure way to make watching the Oscars even more fun is to get into the mood at an Academy Awards-themed party. Celebrate the Oscars like a superstar at Cinema Public House with dinner, cocktails, and the red carpet pizzazz during the big show on February 26, 2017.
Now in its 7th edition, the Cinema Oscars Party will include a special three-course dinner created by Chef Alvin Pillay, Oscars-themed Absolut cocktails by Trevor Kallies, a media wall for photos, and prizes for the best-dressed male and female guests. The doors open at 3pm to take in all action on the Red Carpet before the ceremony begins.
The dinner menu is inspired by some of the great cinema nations of the world, with dishes like Indian-spiced Chickpea & Squash soup, classic Italian Sundried Pesto Linguine, and the Hollywood Americana of Slow Cooked Short Rib and Sweet Potato Mash. The feature Absolut cocktails: Deep Water Horizon, Dr. Strange, and La La Land, are just $10 and, of course, bubbles are always available for the celebrations.
