On February 15, Big Smoke Burger will open its second Lower Mainland location at Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby campus. To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will be giving away vouchers to guests for a free 4oz burger throughout opening day, which they can redeem anytime before March 16.

The SFU menu features customer favourites like the Lamb Burger (fresh lamb, cilantro-feta spread, lettuce and tomato), grilled-to-order AAA Canadian beef burgers along with some welcome additions. Menu items exclusive to the SFU location include the Good Morning Breakfast Sandwich (free-range local eggs, smoked Canadian cheddar, AAA locally sourced beef) and the Wake n’ Bacon Breakfast Sandwich (fried egg, bacon, smoked Canadian cheddar on an English muffin). This location will also offer a weekly selection of Cartems Donuts, $4 pints of local craft beer and freshly brewed coffee on demand.

Big Smoke Burger is recognized for using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. The lamb, chicken and organic beef used in their popular burgers are sourced from Two Rivers Specialty Meats in BC and all Canadian AAA beef is also purchased locally. Big Smoke Burger’s sides and sauces are all made in-house, including hand-cut French fries made from Canadian potatoes and beef and lamb patties hand-pressed daily.

Big Smoke Burger Burnaby is located at 8901 University High Street, Cornerstone Mews and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 11am to 9pm, and Sundays from 11am to 7pm.
