We’ve all been “caught in the act” of taking a selfie – but there’s no reason to feel guilty when you are entering to win a shopping spree from Metropolis at Metrotown?
BC’s biggest shopping center has launched “Picture Your Selfie,” a mobile app where customers can upload their favourite selfie, decorate the photo with frames and stickers, and then share the image on their social media channels. All uploaded photos will be eligible for a chance to win daily prizes and a $500 grand prize shopping spree. Picture Your Selfie can be accessed at selfie.metropoliscontests.com and runs from March 6 – 27, 2015.
Metropolis at Metrotown will also be installing a massive interactive “Selfie Wall” which will be displayed from March 10 – 22, 2015. The Selfie Wall, which measures 50 feet by 19 feet, houses five 70-inch LCD screens that live stream customer photos uploaded to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #MySelfieMyStyle. Customers who upload a photo via social media will also be entered for a chance to win daily gift card prizes and a grand prize $1000 shopping spree.
