Suki’s Salon – 40 Years of Pure Artistry

I recently starting using the organic Spice & Shine Gel Body Scrub from Aruhndara Bath & Body Boutique in Yaletown.  Products at Aruhndara are imported directly from Thailand and known for their beautiful and exotic fragrances. Spice and Shine is made up of these four main scents: tamarind, ginger, turmeric and marigold flower.  The main scent is a zesty ginger whose properties are known to stimulates circulation and act as an antioxidant for the skin.  The texture of the product has a slightly gel-like and goop-y consistency, but feels soothing on the skin.  Although the official recommendation is to use it 1 – 2x / week, the Tamarind grits are gentle enough for more frequent usage.
